The aim of this unit is where you have appliances with 15 amp plugs and out lets that can only take 10 amp plugs (being as the earth pin on 15 amp plug is larger and will not fit into a 10 amp outlet).

This device has a 10 amp plug on a 1.5 Mtr. lead that can plug into regular “house hold” 10 amp socket but the converter box has 2x 15 amp outlets that can allow the plugging in of up to 2x devices with 15 amp plugs.
